Reviewing job risks and hazards is a serious part of our everyday lives. Risk assessment should be about concentrating on the hazards that are evident and providing a method of working that can safely reduce or eliminate the hazards to an acceptable level.

Our experience of risk assessing was that a lot of time was spent on focusing on using a software product (typically a word processor) to produce the required risk assessment and method statement. This is a very tedious operation and not a very productive use of ones time.

Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) Manager takes the pain out of this process and allows the person preparing the safety documentation to think more about the hazards and focus on what steps are required to eliminate or reduce the hazards to an acceptable level.

RAMS Manager includes a method statement template builder to allow the saving of company templates that contain the basic steps that most jobs should require (i.e Personal Protective Equipment to be worn, the adoption of start of job toolbox talks, the requirement to sign on and off the permit to work and the requirement to clean and tidy the workplace).

RAMS Manager also includes a database that can be used to store the common hazards that the users company experiences on a day to day basis. These hazards can be reviewed and steps detailed of how your company mitigates these hazards can also be stored within the app. The generated reports can be emailed or printed via AirPrint on environmental friendly recycled paper.
